Asphalt Definition
Asphalt is a sustainable paving solution made from a mixture of aggregates, binder, and filler. Aggregates are processed mineral materials such as crushed rock, sand, gravel, slags, or various recycled materials. Binder is used to unite the aggregates together to form a cohesive mixture. Of the 2.6 million miles of paved roads in the U.S., over 94 percent are surfaced with asphalt.

Our asphalt division personnel have been actively working in the asphalt industry for 40+ years! B4M-Asphalt Division is under the leadership of Darnell Briscoe (Co-Owner). Mr. Briscoe started his asphalt career at the age of 21 years old and since progressed his career from laborer to superintendent of a large asphalt company within the DC Metro area. Leading countless asphalt projects throughout the nation's capitol surrounding beltway I-495/95, The White House, DC Roadways, US Capitol to name a few. He has since retired, and continues his passion in providing asphalt services with B4M Service Group. His mantra "Do Things Right the First Time!" is what he has instilled within the company's overall mission & asphalt division! We are proud to have him as a major key to B4M Service Group's success!

What's the difference between resurfacing & sealcoating?
- resurfacing is a structual repair of the entire area with a new overlay of 1.5"-3" hot asphalt. Sealcoat is a non structural repair like paint your house but on existing asphalt. It has no structural correction benefits,
When can I drive on my new asphalt?
- It takes 30 days to truly cure. But you can drive on the surface after 2-3 days.
